Van worked alongside his mentor, Alton Whittemore, then purchased the company in 1977. Van has been providing the highest of real estate services to the Kennebec Valley region for over 50 years.

Jen is the office manager at Whittemore’s Real Estate working to keep things running smoothly from advertising, quality control and anything needed to support the staff.

A native of Skowhegan, Garrett returned to Maine in 2016 to begin a career in real estate. Since that time, he has earned his Broker license and become a partner in the firm. Known for his tireless work ethic and his willingness to go anywhere, he will eagerly assist buyers and sellers with residential, commercial, multi-family, second homes and camps, and land properties. Garrett is an avid outdoorsman and he offers a wealth of knowledge to those who seek the perfect property to enjoy their outdoor pursuits. Garrett graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Marketing in 1998 and earned his Masters in Education from the University of Florida in 2001.

Jim spent years in the sales industry before making the move to a career in real estate. He brings with him the connections he made throughout Central Maine as well as experience in helping people throughout transactions. Jim works with clients and customers on all types of real estate from land to commercial properties. Outside the office he spends time with his wife Nicole, family and friends and enjoys all the recreation our area has to offer.

Katie began her real estate career as a sales agent at Whittemore’s in 2018. In four short years, she has earned her Broker’s license and has built a reputation based on hard work, diligence, and attention to detail. Katie has a passion for finding the perfect home for her buyers and she will work tirelessly to get the right deal for her seller clients. Known for her endless enthusiasm, Katie is ready to listen to her clients to help them meet their real estate goals. Katie graduated from the University of Florida in 2001 with a pre-med degree in Zoology.

Mickella was born and raised in the Skowhegan area. She started working for Whittemore's in 2018 and enjoys serving the community that she grew up in. Mickella enjoys assisting people with buying or selling their home, whether it's the first time or the tenth, and it gives her the opportunity to view countless unique properties. When she is not working, you can usually find her doing something with her Great Danes, whether it's training or driving halfway across the country for a dog show.

As someone who grew up in the Skowhegan area, I bring a deep understanding and genuine love for our local community. My roots in the area give me a unique insight into its neighborhoods, schools, and the kind of lifestyle it offers, especially for families like mine who value a strong sense of connection and the great outdoors.

When I am not helping clients find their dream homes, I'm exploring local trails and ski slopes, spending time with family or friends, or discovering new ways to grow both personally and professionally. Real estate isn't just a career for me—it's a passion built on relationships, trust, and a drive to help others move forward in life.

Amy Noble is a proud boomerang Mainer who understands the peace and joy that a rural address can bring to one’s life. After twenty-five years away, she and her husband, Stephen, returned to Maine in 2017 and settled in Skowhegan. With an interest in architecture and design, Amy spent the first year renovating their home built in 1886. From the moment she walked through the front door, she recognized it as their forever home. Outside of her professional life, Amy enjoys cooking for others, road tripping around New England with her bestie, and spending quality time with her family. She attended the University of Maine - Farmington, serves on the Town of Skowhegan’s Budget Committee, acts as head deacon at her church, and supports organizations dedicated to Alzheimer's and cancer research.

With many years spent both abroad and at home, I combine a global perspective with strong appreciation for Somerset County.
